About Head and Neck Cancer

About Head and Neck Cancer

The category of head and neck cancers includes a large number of cancers that occurs on various organs in the head and the neck of human beings. These cancers are classified based on the organ where they originate. The cancers that originate in organs like salivary glands, oral cavity, nasal cavity, larynx, pharynx, neck, lymph nodes, brain, skin, muscles, and bones of neck and head comes under the broad category of head and neck cancer.

Generally Known Causes of Head and Neck Cancer

The exact cause of cancer development, including that of head and neck cancer is not known to the medical science. But certain ostensible factors are believed to be contributing to the development of cancer by the material philosophy based present day medical science. Such factors are called risk factors. They are as given below:

Tobacco chewing and smoking

Consumption of alcohol

Exposure to sun

Infection of human papilloma virus (HPV)

Infection of Epstein-Barr virus

Exposure to radiation

Exposure to wood dust

Consumption of salted food

Poor oral hygiene

Dynamic Science (DS) Based Causes for Head and Neck Cancer

It is generally known that there are mutations or epigenetic changes happen in the genes or DNA or on the genetic makeup that leads to the development of cancer. Dynamic Science, which explains how mind, vital force (soul) and DNA are interconnected, reveals that the regulation of the DNA expression is done by the nature of the mental and emotional thoughts that we allow to develop within us, though there are influences on DNA expression from the outside energy sources and also from the bio-chemical changes that happen in the physical body. Through our researches based on Dynamic Scientific Approach (DSA), we have identified different mental and emotional thought processes that constructively and destructively influence the DNA expression. We identified that naturally positive, happy, comfortable, peaceful and pure mental emotional state constructively or curatively modify the DNA whereas negative, unnatural, pessimistic, fearful, destructive mental and emotional states derange the DNA to express itself to an unhealthy plane. Also each thought is connected to a functional system and/or organ of the body. In this connection we are in search for the particular negative mental and emotional state/thought that affects the particular energy that regulates the functioning of the gene that regulates the multiplication and functioning of the cells of the different parts of the head and neck area for the development of head and neck cancers in each patient. It is still an ongoing research and development activity and a new direction of scientific observation which can help in the development of new future medical science and a new methodology for treatment.

Signs and Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer

Head and neck cancers include many numbers of cancers depending on the part of area of origin of the cancer. Depends on the site of origin of the cancer, the signs and symptoms of the cancer varies. The following are a group of signs and symptoms that can be observed among different cancers that can develop in head and neck area.

Non-healing ulcers or sores in mouth

Bleeding ulcerations or sores in mouth

Red or white or black patches in the mouth

Painful or painless lump or mass in the head or neck area

Throat pain

Bad smell from mouth

Hoarseness or change in voice

Nasal obstruction or nasal polyps or swellings

Frequent nose bleeds

Offensive nasal discharge

Difficult breathing

Double vision

Numbness of the head and neck area

Pain and difficulty in chewing, swallowing, etc.

Earache

Bloodstained saliva or sputum

Loosening of teeth

Dentures that no longer fit

Unexplained weight loss

Fatigue

Lump or mass in the neck

Neck pain

Sinus congestion, especially with nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Sore tongue

Lump or mass in tongue

Lump in the lip, mouth or gums

Enlarged lymph glands in the neck

Slurring of speech

Diagnosis of Head and Neck Cancer

Doctors generally study the medical history of the patient, conduct a physical examination and suggest some diagnostic tests to be conducted for finalizing the diagnosis of head and neck cancer. Physical examination usually includes visual inspection of oral and nasal cavities, tongue, throat, neck, etc. using a small mirror and some lights. If necessary, a biopsy will be suggested by the physician based on the findings in the initial tests.
Endoscopy: In this test, a thin tube called endoscope is inserted and the internal organs are examined. Laryngoscope is a version of endoscope used to examine the larynx. Esophagoscope is another version, used to examine esophagus, and nasopharyngioscope is the instrument used to examine the nasal cavity. CT scan, MRI scan, PET scan, etc. are other diagnostic tests that may be suggested by the physician depending upon the location and the condition of the tumor.

Dynamic Scientific Approach (DSA) Treatment for Head and Neck Cancer

The natural holistic DSA treatment for cancer at SGHHCC and SGCCRC is based on the hypotheses of Dynamic Science (DS) which is a new generation science put forwarded by our founder director and chief physician Dr. Shaji Varghese Kudiyat after more than twenty years of continuous research, study and experimentation during his illustrious career as a homeopathic physician and researcher. With the help of the hypotheses of DS, Dr. Kudiyat is able to explain how mutations and epigenetic changes take place in the genes and how curative mutations and epigenetic changes can be achieved by harmonizing and purifying the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical levels of a person through counseling, yoga, meditation, music therapy, application of homeopathic medicines, judicious application of surgery, etc. For this purpose, we require the patient and his/her relatives to undergo a group counseling session conducted by Dr. Shaji Kudiyat or any of our senior physicians before the actual treatment is started, directly at our hospital or through online video consultation. The group counselling can empower the patient and family to identify and rectify the fundamental causes that produce the tumor within the body.

Homeopathic Treatment for Head and Neck Cancer

A German doctor named Dr. Samuel Hahnemann invented a new system of medical treatment named homeopathy more than two centuries ago. This is a holistic approach of treatment based on the philosophy ‘Similia Similibus Curentur’ meaning ‘let like be cured by the like’. Homeopathic medicines act curatively by purifying the Vital Force (Soul) resulting in beneficial mutations and epigenetic changes; reversing the process of development of the disease. The biggest advantage of homeopathic treatment is the basic dependence of homeopathy in the capacity of the body’s own ‘self-healing’ ability. The homeopathic curative treatment followed in our hospital has been successful in containing the trauma, shocks and complications of cancer and its recovery. Our founder director Dr. Shaji Varghese Kudiyat is a homeopathic researcher and scholar who has dedicated his life for finding out newer approaches and methods in homeopathy based on the new scientific knowledge he had acquired through research and studies during the last two decades as a practising and researching Homeopath. He has written a book titled ‘Homeopathic Medicine – An Unavoidable Medical Revolution.’ All our patients get the unique opportunity to be treated by Dr. Kudiyat whose patient specific analysis of the situation and interpretations are unique and greatly beneficial to the patient and the entire family members.
